Projects
Here’s a small sampling of the kind of work I’m currently engaged in.
Graphic Design
I have gained proficiency with most of the Adobe Creative Suite and am continuing to learn more about them. Before I had to use free software to do the same things. Inksape, GIMP 2 and Scribus have been very helpful for me to continue to do the kind of work Adobe CS can do back when I couldn’t afford them.
I have worked with Dallas International University and the International Linguistics Center. The bulk of my Graphic Design experience comes from working with them. I’m currently working for International Literacy and Development.

Webcomic - Pollito and Jose
Over the years my friends encouraged me to do something with my art, especially the chickens. Most of my work were originally doodles that later developed into big art pieces.
The comic is about a little chicken who searches for meaning in life. He starts alone, but gains a friend; a rather odd one (me).
The comic can be viewed in the links below.
Animation
I’m currently developing this skill. I use a combination of Adobe Animate, Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premier Pro.
Animation is a time-consuming process, so I keep it simple and short to make content quick and efficient.

Web Design
I have created websites and managed some web-pages for different employers. This is a relatively new field for me; so far my experience has been with Word Press and Squarespace. Below are sites I help create and manage.
Vector Illustration
People have often requested that I make a cartoon image of themselves. Weddings are popular venues for such requests.
These were done using vector graphics with Inkscape, and later Adobe Illustrator. They then get finalized using GIMP 2 or Photoshop.
I now sell some of my artwork on Etsy. You can buy downloadable files to print your own or find finished products such as canvas or t-shirts.
